Hello AIA members! This our first post here, but we got the greenlight to start syndicating our weekly podcast series here! The Camland Podcast (powered by Webcam Startup) is your 1-stop shop for everything newsworthy going on in the camming industry. Today, we've got APAG on the podcast, discussing California Assembly Bill 5. CA AB5 reclassifies independent contractors as employees, if they do not pass certain criteria. Streamate and Cams / Streamray have already let go of their California webcam models as a result. APAG has had an ongoing dialogue with the California State Assembly and provides some amazing insight into how California is going to treat our industry moving forward.
