On boxing day 26th Dec 2019, gambling activity on the grounds at the Horse Races in Barbados at the Garrison Savannah was taken to world class level with the launching of a Casino Tent, featuring tables for Texas Holdem and 7 Card Stud poker games.
There was also a table for the streep dice game known as Cee Lo.
The Diamonds International Boxing Day Racing event was the stage for the Casino Tent, which will be a permanent activity on the pasture at all racing events going forward.
The Casino Tent was a popular attraction on race day as it was well received by locals and tourists alike as they popped by and marvelled at the international standard of the tables and other equipment.
The Casino Tent was sponsored Main Event Rentals & Decor located in Worthing, Christ Church, Barbados.
The organisers of the Casino Tent, Charlie Spice and Richard Callender are both pleased with the participation and the success of the games.
Charlie Spice, who is also the Founder/President of Adult Industry Association (AIA) says, "The Casino Tent will receive full support from AIA as poker gaming is part of the adult entertainment industry and falls directly under our purview as an association.
I am looking forward to the next racing day on the 4th Jan 2020, and particularly the Sandy Lane Gold Cup racing day on 7th March 2020 which is the mother of all horse racing events each year."
