The sex and adult entertainment industry across the Caribbean now has its own Complaints Department.
This initiative was launched on 20th November 2019 by Adult Industry Association (AIA) to provide representation, support and assistance to Sex Workers, Porn Performers, WebCam Performers, Strippers, Business Owners and Consumers across the region, who experience any type of civil, legal, social or human rights violations. Complaints can be submitted in any of the following categories.
All complaints are handled discreetly. AIA management will only take action with the knowledge and approval of the complainant.
It is not necessaryt to be a AIA member to submit a complaint. However, you must be a member to get representation, support and assistance from the association.
Immigration, Police, Hotels, Bars, Clubs and other related organisations, which are impacted by the sex and adult entertainment industry are also invited to submit complaints. The AIA team is available to meet with officials and managers of these organisations to discuss and find solutions to their concerns.
AIA has already started to establish partnerships with Lawyers, Doctors, Dentists, Psychologists, Tax Advisors, Business Consultants and other relevant professionals across the region to provide assistance in any conceivable circumstance, as required.
Management will also liaise with Police, Immigration and other government officials as need be to ensure that AIA members get the best possible representation and are treated fairly and without prejudice, in all problematic situations at all times.
